Knowstics Group of schools is located in the Mutasa District in Manicaland about 74km from Mutare and 80km from Rusape.

Our Definition of Learning

At Knowstics Group of Schools, children’s learning is developed from episodic and broad experiences, nurtured independence, curiosity and practice; through an acquisition of knowledge and an increasing ability to apply skills, which are embedded into children’s long-term memory; enabling them to recall information immediately, almost without thinking.

At Knowstics Group of Schools, it is our goal to secure an outstanding curriculum offer for all our pupils. We have both Cambridge and Zimsec centers at our facilities. To achieve this goal, we have designed our curriculum with the aim of supporting all pupils to achieve the best possible outcomes from their individual starting points through embedding a knowledge rich, coherent, challenging and nurturing curriculum that provides enriching experiences. There is a commitment to making the most difference to our disadvantaged and vulnerable pupils so that they access a high-quality education and experience the best possible opportunities so that the achievement gap is narrowed.

The curriculum can be defined as ‘all the stuff you learn in school’. We see the curriculum as the entire planned learning experience, underpinned by the schools and values and vision. It includes anything we plan for the children to learn or experience to enable them to grow and develop: lessons, learning outside the classroom, residential visits, sports events, performances, celebratory experiences.
